6 Wm. Penn Members attend Sweeney's Funeral

On Saturday April 14 Th, 2012, 6 Wm. Penn Member traveled to the Fox Chase section on Philadelphia to pay there respects to Philadelphia Firefighter Daniel Sweeney. Daniel Sweeney was killed in the Line of Duty Death on April 9Th , 2012 after a building collapse in an exposure building following a 5 alarm abandon warehouse fire. Captain James Bampfield, Captain Chris Stine, Firefighter/ EMT D. Hoffman, Firefighter/EMT Shaun Peranteau, Firefighter Ray Guy, and Firefighter Kyle Knowles, traveled with Langhorne- Middletown Fire Company, Penndel Fire Company, and Parkland Fire Company. Firefighter/ Paramedic Daniel Sweeney was employed in 2006 by the Philadelphia Fire department. Dan was assigned to Engine Company 7, Ladder Company 10, and Battalion 10 with Medic 2. Dan also worked as a Paramedic for the Warminster Volunteer Ambulance Corp., Tri-Hampton Ambulance Squad, and Penndel- Middletown Emergency Squad. Firefighter/ Paramedic Daniel Sweeney died in the Line of Duty with his Lieutenant of Ladder 10 Robert Neary. The Wm.
