Staff from the Middletown Township FMO conducted driver and pump training today at Station-7. Staff continue working on getting qualified on Wm Penn Apparatus to assist with day time staffing.

On Monday a group of Girl Scouts from the Walter Miller School made a visit to the Oxford Valley Station. Members of Station-77 along with staff from the Middletown Township Fire Marshals Office went over Fire Prevention and even taught the girls how to use fire extinguishers.

Firefighters participated in Engine Company Operations training on Monday night, Philadelphia Firefighter John Curry from Ladder-15 and also a member of Station-77 took time to go over ladders with some new probies while Chief Conaway conducted a drill advancing hose lines.

Paul F. Graul of Levittown died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 79. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mr. Graul was an original Levittown homeowner, where he has resided for the past 57 years.

Firefighters from both stations attended training at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center on Sunday. Firefighters used the flashover simulator to help recognize the signs of developing flashover conditions and take steps to exit the environment.
