Today the Middletown Township Parks & Rec Emergency Service's summer camp payed a visit to Station-77. Firefighters assisted the Township FMO Staff with the kids showing them some safety tips and showing them the apparatus.

Station-77 firefighters along with Station-8 Penndel FC took time out during a very hot day to show the kids at Summer Camp the apparatus and go over some fire prevention tips. The visit ended with the kids getting cooled off by the firefighters.

Firefighters from Station-7 assisted in the escort of the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall which arrived in Penndel Borough this week. The Memorial was on display from July 14th through the 16th at the Rec-Field.

Before the monthly meeting tonight Soap Box Derby driver Cameron Wallace 8 Years Old presented the company with a plaque from the 2017 Soap Box Derby. First-Time racer Cameron drove William Penn's Stock Car#177 and made it through the third round.

Firefighters attended the annual WPVI 6 Operation Save-A-Life Smoke detector program at the Philadelphia Fire Academy. With the help of Team Toyota, Home Depot, Kidde and the Phila Fire Dept these smoke detectors will be available to all Borough and Township residents.

During our annual Christmas Eve Santa run firefighters collected can goods and food which was donated by our generous neighbors throughout our local. On December 28th over 527 lbs of can goods and food was dropped off to the Emergency Relief Association Food Pantry on Woodbourne Road.
