Crews were dispatched to Langhorne Gardens Nursing Home for a reported vehicle into a building with fire. Chief-21 arrived first and reported a vehicle into a building with the driver trapped and a active fire. E-77 arrived on scene and assisted Rescue-8's crew with extrication and also assisted with fire suppression. Fire was contained to the vehicle and the victim was pronounced at the scene. E-7 was relocated to Station-8 for the cover assignment.
At 11:30PM E-77 along with other mutual aid companies responded to Trenton Road at the Red Rhino Car Wash for a reported vehicle fire with entrapment. Crews arrived and reported a SUV in a wash bay involved in fire with the driver trapped in the vehicle. The victim was quickly removed and crews performed CPR on the victim until arrival of EMS. Squrt-13 made a quick knock on the fire and medics transported the victim to JBH in critical condition.
Saturday proved to be a busy day for both stations. Just before 1:30 PM E-7 was dispatched to 6163 Hulmeville Road in Bensalem Township. Chief-44 arrived first and reported heavy fire Side-C of the dwelling. Just after 4am today E-77 was dispatched as RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) to Station-14's local at 4901 Beaver Dam Road for a working fire. Chief-14 arrived on scene and reported heavy fire and smoke Side-A from a SFD. Additional EMS was requested for two victims laying on the front lawn. E-77 arrived on scene and assumed RIT position. Just after 7am crews were dispatched to 2320 Big Oak Road for a reported building fire at Langhorne Metal Company. Chief-21 arrived on scene and reported heavy fire and smoke showing from Side-B of the building. E-77 was first in and ordered to drop in and go in service with a hand line to the interior. E-77's crew made a quick knock on the fire in the interior and E-55 pulled a 2nd hand line and knocked the fire on the exterior of the building. Crews remained on scene for over an hour clear...
Just after 22:30 Hours E-77 along with R-8 were dispatched to Trenton Road & S Woodbourne Road for a reported accident with injuries. Deputy-77 along with E-77 arrived and reported a 2 vehicle crash with multiple injuries. A total of 3 Medic Units were requested to the scene. E-77's EMT's provided care until the arrival of EMS. Rescue-8 service's were not needed.
Just after 18:30 hours crews were dispatched to Frosty Hollow Road & Bristol Oxford Valley Road for a reported motorcycle accident. E-77's crew assisted ems with Pt. care and also assisted police with traffic control. The driver of the bike was transported by EMS to St. Mary's Hospital with serious injuries.
Just after 1730 Hours crews while working an accident on Main Street in the Borough were advised of a second crash on Bristol Oxford Valley Road in 77's First Due. Engine-77 along with Deputy-77 and Tac-7 responded and arrived to find a vehicle vs a tree with one victim pinned. Rescue-31, Rescue-8 and Squrt-13 arrived and extricated the victim in about 20 minutes. Medic-169 transported the victim to St Mary's Trauma with minor injuries. Just after 1PM crews were dispatched to a MVA with reported entrapment in front of Herbert Hoover on Trenton Road, E-244 arrived and reported a 2 vehicle head on crash with 1 van overturned and the driver pinned. Crews worked for over 30 minutes to free the driver. The driver of the van was transported by Medic-168 to St. Mary's Trauma with minor injuries.
Just after 1am both stations were dispatched to 323 Delaware Ave in Station-8's first due. Companies arrived to find a dwelling fully involved with reports of entrapment. E-77 dropped in to Ladder-8 and the crew went in service with a handline on Side-B/C to protect the exposure. Engine-7's crew assisted E-77's crew in the rear.
